The events listed on these pages are those events that are either
hosted by the CGW or one of its members. Hosting an event may
consist of running the entire event, like a tea at a restaurant,
or being the point-person for a meetup where you welcome members
of the CGW to join you at an event organized by someone else,
like a picnic at a historical house or a museum trip. If you would
like to host an event, please contact Shawn Crosby.

Join the CGW at the Yorba Linda Art Alliance.
The event was held again at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. Concerts were at 1:00p and 3:30p - doors open one hour prior. Georgian attire highly encouraged, but Regency, Victorian, or current "dressy" is fine. (Let's show people what historical for these eras looked like). There are large bathrooms and an area where you can change if needed. A group from the CGW will attend the second seating and go to dinner at the Summit House in Fullerton afterward. The concert was free (donations are appreciated). Dinner ran about $30-$35 per person- open menu. We had a table for 12 reserved in the main dining room at 6:30 PM. |

December 20, 2009 - Ice Skating Meet for the CGW
Crowne Plaza's "Splash" restaurant proved to be a bit too much even with discounts, as was Portofino's "Baleen", the other spiffy restaurant in the area. We shifted reservations for around 30 to the more affordable Ruby's Diner, right next to the Rink and our changing area. If this is more common fare than you were expecting, apologies; you are still welcome to visit one the other two restaurants which are very nearby.
Skate Location:
Seaside Ice at Seaside Lagoon
